Are you able to record a short video of what happens when you attempt to turn it on? That might help to provide clues as to the problem.

It could be an issue with the logic board and/or the transformer. Perhaps those with greater knowledge can weigh in.

The service manual might be able to help isolate the problem but you've listed the model as M8951t/a and it doesn't appear on the EveryMac list of eMacs.

Can you recognise the spec of your machine from that list? If so we can search for the appropriate service manual.

Thanks! Here's the eMac service manual. It appears to be general for all the eMac models. :)

Scroll down to page 111 where the troubleshooting steps are covered for resolving scenarios in which the computer will not power on.
That manual does not cover the later eMacs.
(There's two generations of eMacs, and the internals are completely different)
The OPs is probably an ATI graphics eMac, which is covered in the other eMac service manual. this link should be good for a download

perhaps identifying problem ... capacitor ko ..
in the guide if they are swollen you have to change the logic board, mine in the following photo.
according to you, I do not have the battery PMU can it affect? in the guide he says yes ... but found this problem I would exclude it
thanks anyway for the manual!!

i want to try to change the capacitors, i just have to find the model

You can still find kits with replacement caps...

Are your caps visibly swelling/leaking? That can certainly result in a no-power symptom, and replacing the caps (should) get your eMac working again. However, your eMac is nearing 20 years old, and caps might not be the only fault... Good luck with that repair!
IIRC, all cap replacements in 2nd gen eMacs can use the same size caps.

Further eMac problems? I could be of great help, I suppose. I've worked on eMacs a number of times so I know the last 3 models like the back of my hand. Hell, I got a 1.42GHz model to 1.92GHz, and it runs circles around the best 20-inch G4 iMac.

Unfortunately, bad caps are common among most eMacs. Hopefully you replaced all of the caps... the Analog Board likes to go bad too. I managed to replace some caps on that too, but I need to do a writeup on it someday. Obviously for starters you should only work on the motherboard side. Don't touch anything on the CRT side unless you know what you're doing!
