Does having the Acetal bottom really help with reception issue? I ordered the red/black combo before and in good signal area I have no problems. But at home where I usually get 1 or maybe 2 bars, once I place the case on it'll either jump to edge or no service. I also have this problem at some area like in the mall or bowling alley which I frequent often. Once I remove the case service is great I can browse the net and make calls perfectly but once the case goes on browser will usually tell me that I have no cellular data. I tried just placing the top half and see if it will help and noticed the same thing....bars dropped to no service or edge. I really want to give this a try but don't want to have spent more money and have some more paper weight. I really love the case and hopefully this will be the answer but like I said even with the top half it renders the phone useless in some of these area mentioned earlier.

I just received my hybrid back.

I also have a low signal area.

While I am noticing improvement in signal and data transfer, there is definitely still a hit compared to my incase slider.

I'm going to give this a try for a few days... i'll probably keep it since the case looks so good.

But it DEFINITELY does affect reception slightly. I know because in low signal areas, my data transfer is super slow, text messages take longer to go through, phone calls still drop, and battery life drains very quickly... the compromise for such an awesome case!

That seems to be a pretty big real world effect for "affecting the signal slightly." Bummer.

Your results may vary. I just seem to work around areas of low signal... I blame AT&T and will jump to Verizon when the next iPhone comes out.

Also, I do not have one of those lucky labs stickers around the antennae, thinking of getting one, it may help with reception issues.

Managed to fix up the case, but don't quite like it. Accessibility to Sleep/Volume and Home button is not too good. Sadly am based in SG, any interested parties may drop me a PM.

Yeah, maybe it's for me that I don't quite like it as it's kind of bulky! Hopefully the Apex Armor is not! :)

This case with a Power Support crystal protector on the front and back is amazing. Only downside is my DJ headphones keep popping out of the headphone jack. Trying to figure that part out . . .
