e13ctron aluminum case Full Review

Great looking case - doesn't work for me

Let me just say that I love the way this case looks. I have the polished blue with dark blue bottom and it's gotten me a lot of compliments. But AT&T is already weak in my area (NJ) and the case lost me at least a bar in signal and wi-fi so i am forced to give it up.
I also have the dark gray top and aluminum bottom. I'm looking to get rid of all of them. I have both black and silver screws. 100 bucks and you get 2 full cases. PM me if interested.
I guess I have to wait for the composite case to come out.

Yep, been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I lost interest already, but that Element Pro looks really nice, but pricey.
 
Some pictures. Aluminium for both front and back. Fitted with the regular Monster Turbine, fits just nice.

Paid for the replacement screw kit about 3 weeks ago and I still did not get it.

No replies from Jacob too. What in the world is happening?! :mad:
 
Where is the hybrid case we were supposed to be getting by late March? Before the late March date they said early March, now it's getting to the end of March and no case yet.

yeah, and in January they said late February. Then in late February they said in March. March is almost done, but they didn't say it was 2011 or 2012.:D

LOL that's true. They just keep on pushing it back. If they keep at it, next thing you know iPhone 5 is out!

I think from a business stand point, coming out with a new product this late in the game is pointless. I wouldn't mess with the hybrid now, in a few months the new iphone will be out and everyone will jump ship and move to it so this and all the other cases will be worthless. That's why I can't understand why element would create the Vapor Pro and Atomic doing the Diamond Back for the insane amounts of money they are charging..makes no sense at all. Everyone at this point is probably saving to move on to the next iphone. That's my plan anyways.
 
I received my bronze/black combo this week. Very nice case and very well built. I do get tons of light leaks from where the cut outs are for the buttons, volume and mic jacks and data port. It is only noticeable though when there is light in the room of course or if your outside. This could easily be solved by just replacing the clear plastic strips inside the case with black ones.

Coming from a griffin reveal etch this s4 case is slippery as hell in my hands, I have a feeling i will be dropping it alot. The case makes the phone feel real heavy and almost weapon like :)

Last note, I use the apple AV cable in my truck for the nav system/netflix/ipod control and the big end of the AV cable does not fit this case(which i figured that before i bought it) I had to take a knife and cut the plastic down on the plug at about a 45 degree angle to make it fit.

I have the matt versions, so they ain't that slippery. I do agree that it feels weapon like though!:D
 
For those who have the matte version, does it scratch easily? I'm thinking of purchasing the matte black but am afraid it might expose the aluminum through the black from surface scratches. Might just opt for the polished black if that's the case.

Is everybody getting sick of these cases or what? It seems like slowly people are trying to pawn their case.

It seems like it, however I enjoy my aluminum bumper. I just installed my white rear casing and waiting for my front lcd assembly that is white to come in.
 
Is a lucky labs antennae decal necessary to improve signal? or does it make no difference?
 
Does anyone have the scoops with E13ctron? What's the deal with the hybrid back? I'm probably not gonna get one anyway, but I did want one really bad, but that was back in February when it was announced. I guess they scrapped it already. :confused:
