    Early 2008
    4GB Ram
    64 I think GB SSD

No issues with screen, case, keyboard, optical, ... I had it in a soft leather case since I got it pretty much. One thing I changed was replaced the white surround LCD to a black one. I find it much easier on the eyes that way.
Original battery which holds charge but not for long.

I don't use the machine much anymore since I'll grab the phone, iPad, or just sit at the big screen.

I have few PC laptops but their batteries are shot. Not sure if it's worth to try to sell clean looking, stable, no issues machine.

I'd love to get the 13 Mbp with the backlid key.

In my situation I keep using it (2006 first intel MacBook) for nvALT, windows XP and scientific packages like Matlab and LaTeX hooked to a 21 in display. Unless I needed 200-300 USD I won't bother selling it. Nobody is willing to pay me for the flawless condition, zero scratches, updates in RAM and SSD I gave through all these years.

If you have a decent audio system you could easily use the MacBook to hold your music collection in all glorious lossless formats and be able to operate the collection with the convenience of the OS X inteface.
