Is it just me, or isn't EAC (Windoze) have better encoders than iTunes does? I mean, sure I have used Apple Lossless and so forth for my home. However, for my ipod mini, I have to convert to 128 or 320 to get any kind of decent sound. Before I converted to the "mac"side, I used EAC consistantly. I loved using the LAME encoder VBR setting alt standard ~320. The music has a more crisp sound than some of the muffledness I get with acc 128.

Can iTunes do all this and I'm missing something?
