Each time OS X restarts, I get a folder with a question, and then the Apple logo.

I had a kernal panic this morning after I updated Firefox to 2.0.0.14, and when I restarted I noticed that I got the folder with exclamation point for about 1 second, and then I got the Apple logo and everything booted fine. I haven't noticed any actual problems, but I still find it odd to get that kind of behavior at start-up. Have other folks noticed the same thing?

    Thanks in advance.

BTW, this is after I installed a new HDD and cloned my old 10.5.2 set-up to a new drive.

Set your Startup Disk again in System Preferences. OS X can forget it.

That folder is what it displays while it is searching for a startup volume.
