My early '08 is suffering from intermittent buzzing / loud fans. I say intermittent because it really depends on the position of the laptop. As soon as the noise kicks in, I need to apply pressure to the body or reposition the laptop for the noise to stop.
The fans are running at what I'd say is a minimum - 2000rpm.
The laptop was BTO (250gb HDD). What would be causing this and how can I fix it?
