I just want a simple macbook that I can use for browsing, some code development and isdseally run some sort of virtual windows ( not essential )

I have seen an early 2015 13 " macbook pro retina on FB. perfect screen, an odd scratch on the case ..he is asking £135

Of course I understand it could break the day after I bought it but is this machine still a decent one ?

cheers

p.s. Happy to spend a bit up to £350 for a newer one if you think it would make a big difference

That's sooooo old. Honestly, obsolete tech. I'm not sure I would even use it if it was free.
Go for an M1 or M2. Although you will have to raise your budget closer to 500
