early 2008 macbook top case replacement?

Hey u guys my brother-in law just gave me his 2008 mac book, he bought it beginning of the year and on their honeymoon he spilled coffee on the keyboard. i have taken it completely apart and no coffee had seeped inside. i need to replace the top-case but am unsure what version to order. i found this on ebay and would like to no if this would work? or would i need " version 2"?

It doesn't look that way and appears that one only works with earlier products (2006 and early 07) and version two works only with later (late 07, early 08). There are slight differences between the two keyboards (pre-07 models had a num pad, etc).

Good luck getting the machine together.
