Hi everyone

Grabbed myself a 15" Early 2013 Macbook Pro knowing it had some flickering issues - it works absolutely fine in external / clamshell mode.

Any ideas what I need to get it fixed so I can use it as a laptop 😉?

Thanks in advance

Looks like a failing LCD panel.
The usual tips would be to try reseating the video cable, where it attaches to the logic board.
I don't think you can get at the OTHER end of that cable, without slicing open the display assembly, and I doubt you should even try that...
The graphics card/chip is likely OK when you can get a stable image on an external display.
If reseating the internal cables don't help, then you would just need to replace the display assembly.
