I've noticed that sometimes my graphics fail to switch following my update to Yosemite earlier this year. I have tested both with and without gfxstatus, so it isn't restricted to an issue with that program. It's gotten to the point that I am unable to launch certain programs that are graphically dependant.
I did a few searches and didn't see anyone with the same problem, but I'm sure that I'm not a unique snowflake. Are there any workarounds to this issue?
