Early Macbook - Ram Upgrade

Hi
My wife has a pretty early model macbook bought in 2006. I believe it is the "Yonah" processor. Right now, she has two 512mb ram units in it. Can I put a 2GB unit in, paired with a 512mb? Will that create problems?

You should always put memory in matching pairs, ie 2x1GB

As the above poster mentioned for best results ie dual channel you should buy matched pairs ie 2 x 1GB, plus if its a yonah the max is 2GB anyways
