Were there no demo units handed out to media and reviewers to provide reviews ahead of time? I haven’t seen any reviews or unboxings yet. Usually happen 2 days before launch

Considering how surprised everyone seemed, and how a few big media sites have said they'd be getting theirs on Wednesday, I think Apple actually didn't send demo units out in advance. It's possible Apple didn't even decide about the timing until relatively recently. They likely had planned on a surprise media invitation to an announcement event with a couple week's notice, like they often do, but when it became clear that would be a bad idea, they just shoved it out the door.

My advice if you have a 2018:

only upgrade if you need more storage or want to change iPad Pro sizes. If you have an 11 And wanna go to 12.9, sure. Otherwise? Nahhhh. Keeping my 2018 11 until there’s a legit reason to upgrade

gimme dat magic keyboard though

Fully agree, absolutely no point in upgrading

Its funny how each one started as a review for the iPad and pretty much turned into a demo for Mouse Support followed by drooling over the Magic Keyboard. :D
