My upgrade isn't until Oct 22. So if I buy the 6+ 128GB, it will run be $750 + about $90 in taxes, and $40 upgrade fee from ATT. This would be about $880.
For 950 + about $100 in taxes, I can just get the phone off contract, and use my upgrade for to get a second phone at regular price and either:
a) Selling it (clearly for more than I paid for it though).
b) Get the 6 to alternate if I want the smaller screen size.
c) It would be a great gift for one special person during Christmas season.
d) use my upgrade on the possible 6S next year
The reason I am considering this is because Ive been wanting a large iPhone for years now, and this coming friday, Im definitely want to get one ASAP. But spending an extra $250 makes me feel uncomfortable for just an early upgrade. So I figure buy the full price at value, and then I can use my subsidized upgrade price on another phone or the 6S.
