Hello. When I speak into the handset of my Iphone I can faintly hear myself through the earpiece while I talk. It is horribly annoying. It's not an echo because it happens at the same time as I am speaking.

Does anyone else have this problem? I know this sounds silly, but could I be holding the phone incorrectly or something?

Ahh!

Like, does this sound like something to take the phone back for?

It sounds more like a connection issue. Try removing the sim and replacing it while the phone is off, so you can soft reset the network on the phone. And then place a call. It is a common thing to happen though, especially if the other end has "speakerphone" or loud volume to hear YOU, and it happens to go back into the mouthpiece of their phone so you hear it.
