This is the problem:

Apple's regular earphones with music control buttons hurt when I wear them for a few hours straight.
I don't like the way the Apple in-ear option sounds. (way too thin & lack of bass)
And I have these nice in-ear Sennheiser earphones, which I like very much. Sound great, feel good etc ... Only thing missing is the volume/track control buttons.

So I saw stuff like the Griffin SmartTalk etc, but I was wondering if it's any good and if you know any better alternatives?

I want to be able to pause/skip tracks & fastforward through songs.
Don't care about the answer-calls feature ...

Any help please?

I'll take sound quality over function any day. So I'd say, enjoy the music and don't bother with all sorts of extenders. They will only degrade the sound quality.
