iPhone 15 Pro Earpiece Speaker Notch/Gap Thread [MERGED]

Hi, stupid question maybe but does anyone know why there is an indent on the edge of the glass and the titanium band right above the notch?

It’s about 3/4 of an inch and centered right above where the notch is.

Feels like it’s going to be a dust catcher.

Yes, it’s the receiver. It lets you hear people when they’re talking to you on the PHONE

Thats the speaker/earpiece as far as i know and is normal.

Yes, folks know what speakers are it’s just past iPhones didn’t have it that obvious.
