Earth Day Challenge 2018

So yet again the Apple Watch Challenges appear to have some bugs. I've just done a short 2km run for a total of 14 minutes, and even though I haven't hit the 30 minute target yet, I have been awarded the Earth Day Challenge Badge.

And interestingly enough, when I open the Activity app it tells me that I was awarded the Badge on the 20th of April!

Seems Apple still can't get these calculations right...

Um, all the blood is in your head, so you can't think clearly, because you're on the underside of the globe. It CAN'T be a bug, because Apple doesn't have those, in particular with regards to the health crap. /sarcasm.

I have to do 30 minutes of activity tomorrow, but I have no idea what to expect. So, I'm sad. I hope yours works out. Enjoy the badge while you have it!

Got mine but I did run for 52 mins.

No idea why they can’t get these badges sorted, looks like they’re not going to be fixed until at least ios12

And I have the exact opposite problem. I did two outdoor walk workouts for Earth Day that were over 30 minutes each and I haven’t been awarded it

9.97 miles to earn this. Part of me wants to go back out to finish the .03 mile to make it 10 even.

So I switched watches today like I normally do when the battery gets low on whatever watch I was currently wearing. Once the activity data synced to the watch I just put on, it instantly said I got the Earth Day Challenge even though I never started a workout today. It did the same thing with the Mothers Day challenge last year when I switched watches. The app still has this stupid bug that no one has fixed in nearly a year.

My understanding is 30 minutes of any workout type accepted with the workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health.

My trophy popped no problem. In fact I never had any issues with activity achievements so far.

I did a 45 minutes in door walk workout and it popped after I ended the workout.

I jumped on the recumbent bike a little after 10 pm. Pedaled my heart kit for a little over 32 minutes. Mission accomplished. Got the badge almost immediately after completing it.

It can really take some time for the badge to show up. For the Women's day challenge, it literally took two full weeks for it finally show up on my phone.

I hope that’s the case with me. The badge completely disappeared as an option right now and I did two outdoor walk workouts. I’m on vacation right now in London and I wasn’t going to be able to do my normal cycling workout or HIIT workouts (use this setting for my CrossFit classes)

I had that in March ... one badge of two with individual target disappeared beside I achieved it. But actually a day later it came back.

Yep - I'm on B2 but mine didn't show up either and i hit the exercise goal.

FWIW, my friend’s (the elliptical exerciser) showed up about six hours later. Mine popped immediately. Go figure.

Wife and I got ours. Wife did Zumba and I went out on a 33 min run in 88F CA desert heat (regretted it). We both got ours soon as we finished our exercise event.

I did a 2.5 mile outdoor walk and got the badge within about 5 minutes of finishing. I've already texted the animated badges to a bunch of friends and relatives!

I always receive a notification on the Watch or the iPhone a couple of days before the event day.
