Do you guys notice there is no earth day challenge this year? I can understand why Apple doesn’t want to do it this year but it’s a bit of a shame. Oh well next year maybe.

Happy Earth Day and stay safe everyone!

I was looking forward to it WTF :( ... if there's no notification it means it's just not coming huh? :/

I don't think it is happening because they usually push it out to everyone few days in advance :(
Also it is 22nd April here in New Zealand.

Oh ur in New Zealand... right... that means it's definitely not coming... Yeah I can see it being a bit irresponsible with how things are in some countries and places right now... :S

Thanks virus, one of the things I was looking most forward to with this watch was the limited time challenges and they get cancelled. Guess I'll have to wait till next year.

Dang...seems silly to cancel when it was just a 30 minute workout. That can be anything inside the house. 😒 Oh well...next year I guess.

I thought it was an outside 30 minute workout.

Automerged to say, I guess the problem is, everyone else thought it was outside, when it was not. Many people would ge going out, even when the challenge did not require it.

Considering it Earth Day and getting outside would be the point that would make sense. I double checked and mine from last year just says 30 minute workout on Earth Day.

Seems silly that they didn't do it, the monthly challenges are still there. Not everyone has to stay inside.

They could have specified “indoor” walk or run for 15 minutes. That would have been pretty “PC” during the pandemic. That would have encouraged people to do exercise while they are at home which is very important IMHO.

Yeah I was picturing them lowering the time requirement to half, and I thought it had to be running, hiking or walking... 🙄 In that case, they really shouldn't have cancelled it. Or specify it being a yoga or strength/flexibility etc workout to discourage people going outside...
