    Spotlight.

Unless they are music, then just use the Show Duplicates option from the View Menu.

Is there any way to have the computer search the hard drive for all duplicate files, I dont know which files specifically to look for so spotlight isn't really my easiest option, unless there is a way to do so in spotlight. Thanks.

Not really, since there are a lot of files with duplicated names but have different functions all across the computer.
