Hey all

I have my mac (obviouslly) but my school uses PC's and stuff. When I format my jump drive...which format should i make my jumpdrive so it may be used on both mac's and pc's. (word docs...excel docs...powerpoints...etc)

FAT.... if you buy it from the store, it should come that way. If it doesn't for some reason, you can make it into a FAT volume using Disk Utility on a Mac or using the HP utility (link) in Windows. (Maybe you can easily do it in Vista... most people seem to recommend using HP's utility in XP).

FAT32 works well on both. However, there is a 4GB limit per file. But that shouldn't matter for small flash drives.

Darn. Beat me to the punch.
