iPod easy/lazy way to make playlists?

i'm WAY too lazy to pick out songs to make up a playlist. i'd really like one that does something random.

soon minimizing my ipod size, so throwing on lists on there would be nice.

Make a smart playlist, mess with some settings and you should be able to make up a random playlist.

Were you able to pay attention long enough to read all of that?

Here's an idea... Make a smart playlist that selects songs most recently added and is limited to a either a certain number of songs (like 200) or disk space (like 1 or 2GB). This will automatically update as you add new songs to your collection and will drop the oldest ones as the newest are added. If you have songs rated in your library, you can also add a rating range (such as 4-5 star songs only) to the search criteria.
