I do have winclone however its not that easy to do.
Anyone have the steps needed listed?
Apart from using Winclone (or in the case of older, upgradable MBP's, switching the hard drive over) there isn't much you can do.
Here's a bit of reading for you:
If you still can't figure it out, we'll try and help.
WinClone is by far the easiest. Just create the recovery image and save to elsewhere, create a new FAT32 partition in the new rMBP, install and activate WinClone on it, and then restore the recovery image into the FAT32 partition using WinClone (PS make sure you enable EFI booting when restoring).
well i have been trying. Have restored the image but having fits.
Not worth it, just clean install windows.
I finally got it windows working by using parallels to get the drivers running then I kept getting an error from Quickbooks pro, it would not open.. I deleted then renstalled to no avail. I had to down load another program for repairs from Intuit.
I think I am all set now.
