So Ive been dipping my toes into the Android eco system lately with my Samsung S25 FE and Samsung S10+ FE tablet. Luckily most things work perfect since Ive always used lots of Google apps anyway.

But Ive been having a headache with iMessage when I switch back and forth. I notice Even when my eSIM is switched to my Android I still get all my texts on my Apple devices and none on my Androids. Do I really have to go to all my 4 Apple devices and disable iMessage if I want to start using my Android for a week? Is there a simpler more seamless way to bounce back and forth?

Any help would be appreciated.

I switch back and forth between my 17Pm and S25U and P10 XL all the time. I have AT&T and they make it pretty simple to switch eSims. But first step is to sign out of iMessage on all of your Apple devices that you use iMessage. That is my first step. Go to my iPhone and sign out of iMessage.
Then make the eSim switch with AT&T on their website. This process has worked flawlessly for me so far.

You can always go to the website below from Apple that will deregister your phome number with iMessage to solve your current problem.

Hey thanks a lot. So you must sign out of every Apple device iMessage manually right? Not just your iPhone? Like my Mac, iPad, iPhone, etc.

I think if you deregister the phone number you might be good to go. I would try that and then see if that works for you.
Personally i only sign out of iMessage on my iPhone.

How does OpenBubbles work for you?

Been working great for me for around 2 months. In some instances messages was moved to a new chat for me and/or the person I was messaging but that seems to have to do with me using my email to initiate that conversation years ago and now it is coming from my number.
