Not sure how apples reseller business or what rules apply, but my guess is it's like any other reseller, they get the refurbs from Apple or another reseller, then sell to you.

Not sure if an eBay store is where Apple wants their machines, so they may be paying off a larger reseller that has an account with Apple, and getting some machines from them to sell.

I looked at a refurb from them a few weeks ago as they are close to where I live however don't offer in person pickup and charge state sales tax.

I'm sure their one year warranty is perfectly fine and is an apple supplied warranty on an apple refurbished device. Their feedback seems to speak for itself. Pay with paypal. Once you got computer, verify its refurbished history with Apple. If something doesn't jive, you have recourse.

Sorry, bad wording. I realize Apple doesn't give anything away. I was referring to, I didn't think Apple sold refurbished items to other outlets for resale.

Yup, I think Apple uses a variety of resellers to sell their refurbs

I've never heard of Apple allowing any third party vendor to sell official Apple refurbs. I suspect these have been "refurbished" by this seller. The wording in their product description is a little vague also IMO.

They've got great ratings and are us based, actually very close to where I live. They claim it has an apple certified warranty associated with it, which can be verified by Apple, so I can only assume it's legit. Also, they are featured a lot on 9to5toys for their best deals of the day because of their aggressive pricing. Ask them for a serial number and verify its refurbished details from them.
