eBay Ipad to VGA converters?

Hi - any of you bought those cheap ipad to VGA adapters? are they recommended?

I bought one, quality was pretty bad. If it's for web browsing, slideshows, PDFs/books then I would say that is acceptable. But definitely not for viewing movies/photos. However it was a very flimsy/cheap one, I'd imagine that a less affordable one would be better.

Hi. Thanks for that. Maybe I'll just suck up and get the real thing. It's £25 here in the UK from what I can see.
