I was hoping that I would have access to the marketplace, but I still can't post there, and I am tired of waiting to sell my old keyboard and trackpad. Is it against the forum rules to post a link to something we are selling on eBay?

Yes.

It is why whenever I post eBay links you will always see that I add a message to the moderators explaining that whatever it is, it is not my auction/item that I am linking to.

The very first time I did this and did not know it was against the rules, my link was removed and I got a message from the mods.

When you write "access to the marketplace", are you referring to the MacRumors Marketplace forum?

If so, then your post count (250 posts) and membership duration (180 days) both meet the qualifying values, so it seems like there's a glitch of some kind.

Can you confirm whether you see the Marketplace forum when you go to the top Forums page, and scroll down to MacRumors Community.

The MP forum will only be visible if you qualify for it. It should appear below the Picture Gallery forum. As a double-check, Site and Forum Feedback should be the last forum listed under MR Community.

If you can't see the MP forum, or can see it but can't access it, please use the Contact form to submit a request to the admins.

I see this message in the marketplace.
