Apple Pay eBay

Can Apple Pay be used on eBay via the desktop (i.e. Tahoe)? Looking at eBay (help and support) it would suggest so - but every listing I'm interested in do not list Apple Pay as an option? I don't have an eBay account yet - probably won't if I can't use Apple Pay. Is this a common thing - are others using eBay with Apple Pay? Thanks

Yeah, I use Apple Pay quite a bit with eBay.

Thanks for quick reply. Did the listings you bought from indicate Apple Pay as an option or did you have to add it somewhere? Anything special I need to do if Apple Pay isn’t listed?

I think with eBay you can use Apple Pay but you still need an eBay account to be able to bid on items etc.

You set it up as one of your payment methods, just like PayPal or a credit card. The seller doesn’t pick the payment method, you do.

Yeah it’s lust “in the list” of payment options, nothing special needed.

Thanks to everyone that replied - really appreciate it. As a buyer - every listing I see doesn't list Apple Pay as an option - perhaps something is turned on within the listing when Apple Pay is detected on my MacBook. I thought eBay automatically added Apple Pay as a payment option to sellers when creating a new listing - perhaps someone selling on eBay can confirm. Thanks again

I’ve just clicked on a few listings and they all list Apple Pay. The seller doesn’t choose.
