Does anyone know any good places to get eBooks for the books app?
Also, if I do get some, where abouts via SFTP do I put the files?

    I just found a great website; http://www.truly-free.org

Wow, that's a great site! I've been looking for something just like that. I really wouldn't mind paying for ebooks (I bought plenty of them for the Treo), but ereader, fictionwise, all of them have DRM and the books can't go on the iPhone.

When you've got them, you can sftp them to a directory called EBooks (you have to create it) in Media. And both of those names are case-sensitive, so watch that.

Also, if the file is big, you should break it into parts/chapters to reduce loading time. If you put all the chapters into one folder (and that folder in the EBooks directory), then books.app will know they're all part of the same book. Also, if you put a jpg, gif, or png file in that folder, and name it cover.jpg (or whatever extension), then books.app uses that as the image while the book is loading--very nice!
