Ed discount vs Black Friday/Cyber Monday

Buying my wife an iMac. Are any of the discounts likely to be better than the educational discount? I've never seen any for new machines. Also need a couple of iPads and was surprised there's no educational discount for those.

The Black Friday deal has been about the same as the educational discount. It was $101 dollars last year when I bought my MBP. Research in the forum pretty much confirmed that for the last couple years also. I only priced the MBPs, I'm not sure about the iMac, though.
