Nah if you don’t believe it that’s fine. You fit with the majority. It’s not a golden ear either. Majority doesn’t mean 99%. If you want to meet someone with better ears than your majority, just goto CanJAM.
Yup, I don’t. And it’s not about just majority either, it’s science and statistics. But hey, who cares about data and facts right? Plenty of gullible people to sell audiophile grade cables to. LOL.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. You're saying it's science and statistics. Science says there is degradation between 128 kbps and 256 kbps. You're literally transferring 50% less data in the former. Are you sure you care about data and facts?

There are certain characteristics of the music that are noticeable between the two when using the right equipment starting with higher fidelity headphones. Your cables won't make any difference without them, and neither will your everyday $30 headphones

In layman's terms, generally 128 is described to be less clear vs 256.

Try taking this test: http://mp3ornot.com or https://www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2015/06/02/411473508/how-well-can-you-hear-audio-quality

The former I got 5/6. The latter I got about 4/6 of the answers. I will say I never picked the 128 kbps versions for any of them though. Tested with my Mr Speakers Ether CX, though it's easier with open back headphones.

"...and its launch this fall, with Cue stating that Apple's focus will be on quality over quantity."

That says it all really.. i wouldn't mind quality as long as their worth watching.
