EDGE Down in Philadelphia area?

EDGE seems to be broken in the Philadelphia area, I get a message saying it can't activate EDGE. I have tried on 2 iPhones (although on the same plan). Anybody else having this issue? I havent seen any reports of this yet but I know that EDGE was down in the middle of the US yesterday.

not that i know off i'm in the new york city region and the edge is working perfectly however just last week i had my phone with me and i had no service the whole day up until 4 p.m.. its really weird try restoring or putting it into airplane mode and switching it back on to make it search.

I'm not that close to Philly (about 45mins-1hr out in NJ), but EDGE is fine for me here as well. That probably doesn't help your situation.

Edge network was down in Virginia as well. Charlottesville / Staunton area. I called AT&T and of course, they had no reported outage.

Came back up around 4:45pm EST or so.

I live in Harrisburg (about 90 minutes or so from Philly). Edge was down here a good chunk of this afternoon. I kept getting the "could not activate Edge" (or something similar) yesterday for a couple of hours as well. I had some trouble with it earlier in the week as well. It's a pain when it's down!

I had trouble with the Edge for a couple of hours again last night. I turned my iPhone off and on and was able to get back on. I don't know if that was a fluke as its the first time turning off and on has worked for me.
