EDGE not responding, ATT support number?

I'm finding that EDGE is slow to respond in my local area, even with full bar coverage. It's a dense location especially around lunch, so maybe that could be the issue.

To call AT&T support, is it simply dialing 611 on the phone, or is there a better direct tech support number?
