I've only been to Scotland once and that was to Edinburgh to visit a friend at Uni there. Admittedly that was about 15 years ago. We climbed Arthur's Seat (but straight up, vertically, not via the path). The people were very friendly, I remember particularly. I went in February, and compared to London it was BLOODY cold. Like going to another country (much further from the equator than London).

Anyway, have fun. :)

I found london colder when I was around for christmas, at the moment if I wear my coat I get too hot.

Then again, I'm plain weird, today I went out in a small T shirt and jeans with a 5" gap between the two and people were somewhat freaked out as they were all in coats and jumpers.

Deep fried pizza.

The diets of folk really begin to get sketchy once you get into Yorkshire and beyond don't they.

No wonder the average life expectancy up north is 1/3 of that elsewhere. heh.

I figure with how rediculously healthy I am an occasional pizza supper (as in about once a term) and the odd bloody mary won't do any harm.

Just stopping by for a pint or two and some nosh with (hopefully) the both of them... :)

Any time you want to meet up in town, just let me know. :)

But... but... that's not the same as you coming to visit. *sobs*

You know... the only reason they built the Humber Suspension Bridge was to make it easier for the locals to top themselves. Especially with their football team and all. ;)
