I have Photoshop CS, and I do not believe there is a way to edit motion gifs with this software. Is there any other way to do it with free mac software alternatives?

Do you have the whole suite? If so, you have photoshop image ready which is great for gif editing.

OKay...but there is no way to use the magic wand tool in imageready...

What I am trying to do is replace all of the white area with F7F79A

Is there another way to do this?

The magic wand is under the marquee tool. 😉

True in photoshop...but in imageready i cannot use the magic wand.

Is there any option to "find a specific color and replace every instance of that color with a different one?" sort of like command-f in word.

there is a magicwand tool is imageready...well at least in cs2! just click and hold on the rectangular marquee tool
