On my work Windows computer I can edit files directly on a web server via CuteFTP Professional. So, thinking the Mac version had the same capabilities I bought and downloaded the same program (or so I thought). Unfortunately, the Mac version of CuteFTP is crap and doesn't allow editing-without-having-to-download-the-file capabilities. Stupid me for thinking the software manufacturer would provide an exact copy of their Windows program on the Mac.
So...does anyone know of an OS X Lion compatible FTP program that has the ability to edit files directly ON the server without having to download them?
