Tools for editing consist of the Edit button, and any options in the Thread Tools drop-down at the top of each forum page, and in some cases an Edit Poll link. If you can't make a change that you want to make, use the Report Bad Post system

which is simply a way to send a message to whichever moderator is on duty, and tell them what you'd like changed. They will accommodate any reasonable request.
