I want to remove about the first 2 seconds of a TS file. Is there any program available that I can do that with?

I use MPEG Streamclip and ProjectX
to convert .ts files to an editable format, and then either iMovie or Final Cut to edit them.

Do I need both applications? Or either of the two?
