Did anyone else notice that the education discount on the entry level MacBook Pro (previously MacBook) increased from $50 to $100? Thanks a lot :apple:!

Yep! Very excited about that, I can't wait to buy mine. I can now get a 13" MacBook Pro for 1099 with student discount. And a free iPod. I'm just ecstatic! :D :apple:

FYI, you are not limited to the three choices that they have listed under the config option online. You can go here: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/printers?mco=MTE5NDM and see all of the choices. You just need the printer on the same invoice as the computer to get the $100 back.

I am so happy for the increase in education discount! Combined with the free ipod and free printer, the discount makes getting a new apple laptop a really good deal. Even if I only sell my MBP for $500 and the ipod for $150 its only a $750 upgrade to a 3 year newer computer and more RAM, faster processor.
