I do qualify but just to get this straight, should I have a student ID ready to be faxed/scanned to them or do they do the honors system?
I'd be buying a Mac Mini if that matters.

Honor system indeed. Some say apple does random audits of these orders. Others (me) say that's VERY, VERY unlikely.
