I've been a Windows user for almost 10 years (guess I still am sort of) and now for the first time of my life, I'm waiting for my first Macintosh computer to arrive from Apple - a new PowerBook. Actually i've been even that enthusiastic about the 'new beginning' that in the mean time I have almost completed the book called 'Macs for Dummies' and now I'm looking for some literature and books to move on and take my knowledge about Macintosh up to the next level. So have you got any suggestions where should i look and what materials should i purchase?

Regards,

j.

I'd suggest books about the specific apps you'll be using. "The Missing Manual" series seems to be popular. Enjoy!

OS X: The Missing Manual (Panther Edition) by David Pogue is a way better book than any Dummies publication...

Will take you through 90% of the stuff that you'll want to do with your new Mac.
