EE calls over WiFi (UK)

Any idea when this service is to launch?
I seem to recall the email from EE asking for pre-orders mentioning it, so it must be pretty soon?

should be by the end of the year, i just did get a carrier update though, i don't know what thats done?

You do realise wifi calling isn't free phone calls? It just means you can make calls via wifi when there is no mobile signal and the usage comes out of your allowance/gets charged to your bill.
