After I downloaded the latest macbook pro updates including efi etc it told me to reboot my computer, which was going to do later. Anyway a friend was using my laptop later on without it being plugged in, then rebooted it. Ever since then my computer won't boot, it just goes to the apple logo screen, loads, then a blue screen comes up an that's all. I've tried resetting PRAM but no luck, what should I do? It's my new MacBook pro :(

i think it would be caring to look up on the internet either on Apple Support or just Google your problem !! I myself had a similar problem with my macbook pro some time ago but i eventually went to an apple shop !! Depending on where you live you can either find an Apple Shop that is close or an Authorized Retailer that could help you with your problem and if they can't help you i think apple should refund you or give you another macbook !!

Hope this helped you !! :) :apple:

How long have you let it sit at that blue screen? It could be doing some updates. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't always give you any feedback about such operations.
