I've been toying with the idea of replacing my Windows desktop. From what I've gathered, eGPU support in Bootcamp is still not an exact science and hard to predict if it'll work on any given machine. The presence of the dedicated GPU in Macbooks seems to cause issues in particular. So I've been wondering:

1) Is it likely that getting an eGPU to work in Bootcamp (Windows 10) will be easier on the new Mac minis since they don't have a dedicated GPU (just the integrated one)?

2) Do nVidia cards now work reliably? I've got a 1070 that might enjoy finding a new home in an eGPU enclosure.
