I have an Eizo and wondering if it is worth swapping for the Apple XDR.
I used it for photography and color accuracy is important. Apple display has not build in calibration—although they claimed it’s not needed.
Any thoughts?

wait & see - you're already using what's arguably the best amongst displays for photography. in your shoes, i'd be waiting for the next revision of the XDR - this one has fans in it, so its obviously running hot internally, its lifespan and colour consistency across the panel is a real unknown.

4K euro EIZO monitor and you need to swap it? Why in the world?

I will go to an XDR vs an EIZO only if I need to do video or I need something more design appealing.

You also need:
Mac Pro (2019) with GPU MPX Module
MacBook Pro 15" (2018 or newer)
MacBook Pro 16" (2019)
iMac 21,5" (2019)
iMac 27" (2019)

or a Mac with TB3 plus blackmagic eGPU.

I’d say we need to see some tests done on the Apple XDR before we can see how good the new kid on the block performs. It sure looks impressive and the specs sound great plus if they have the reliability of the 30” ACD it sounds like the perfect monitor for photo and video people. However, we have no idea other than from the usual arse licking YouTubers as to its performance.

As a fellow photographer who is about to buy a new Mac Pro, the lure of the XDR is a compelling one. But we must not forget Eizo have been the measuring stick of profession monitors since photographers went digital with colour managed workflows and your CG319X is at the very top of the tree.

Obviously no help to you but I’m hoping the existence of the Apple XDR forces the price of the CG319X down so I can pick one up. :D
