Eject key not working with external superdrive

Hi,

My eject key is not working with my external usb superdrive. Is this normal?
If i press it nothing happens.
I dont have an internal superdrive so i cant check if the key is working good...

That is normal, as the EJECT key only work with the internal ODD.
