Initially had many troubles downloading new software and since first clicking download everything else keeps freezing (e.g. Safari) and I have to shut down and restart computer. Then click download and finally works but taking really long and pausing then resuming not always successful. At 3.81 gb of 6 and froze again. Need computer for class today, please help!

No Ethernet cable unfortunately. Anyway to save the progress and resume at school or do you think it will just freeze again and force me to restart computer
