hey, i'm about to order my new macbook pro. I was wondering if ordering the 7200rpm or the SSD decreases the battery life.how about the heat?

7200rpm HDD might slightly decrease battery life, although it will likely not even be noticeable. An SSD should have no impact on - and in some cases will actually improve - battery life.

I would say for all the time being saved on loading time, it would save it more. :D
