Before I came upon this thread, I ordered the Element case Vapor 4 for my iphone 4. I had mixed feelings about that case because I've read a lot of reviews about the Vapor 4 reception issues, even though they revised the bumper. It is still on it's way from shipping, and did the RMA request so that I can return the vapor 4. I already ordered the Vapor comp and choose overnight shipping, because I ordered it 10 pm, most likely it will ship tomorrow and receive the following day. Which I am hoping.

Is reviews out there for this case?

I have the Vapor Comp Pro in black/red and have had no GPS, WiFi, or 3G issues like I did with a few versions of previous EC cases.

That being said, I have the "bowing" feature as other have stated, but no power button "locking." I hope EC can greate a more solid and less flexible replacement plastic. Otherwise I love this case!

Anyone with a Vapor Comp and the bowing issue should contact Element Case. They say they have fixed the issue and you should be able to get a new polymer side bar. I dont believe you need an entirely new case. Just that piece.

I have the Vapor Pro White Edition and the Vapor Comp Patriot Edition which already sold out which i don't get since they are all numbered from 001-200 and i got #014 yesterday. I'm assuming ppl who wanna sell them bought them out to sell at a higher price? I dunno...... I love the white color of the Vapor Pro White Edition, but the fit of the Comp is much better, it's tighter around the edges of the phone without the gaps the Pro had, and the case seems slimmer than the Pro. I love the rubber bumper piece inside the three cut outs side. No reception or GPS issues. I'm not a big fan of the polycarbonate piece either. Mine is not bowing as others have complained, but it does seem cheap compared to the rest of the case, and it scratches easier. But all in all, really nice case.

Lemme know what u all think...

Anyone know if they are going to come out with a white color option? Why can't white ever be a standard option instead of a special edition all the time!? For goodness sake the phone comes in two colors; black and white... You figure those would be the first two colors that would pop into case makers' heads. They'd make so many more sales-common sense.

It's because white cannot be annodized therefore has to be painted on. It's hard to get consistency and durability out of glossy white paints. This is probably why the white ones also cost more.

My car is a white pearl and it's a PIA whenever I need to body shop it. I'm sure ceramic white is a headache as well. Pearl is definitely worse though.

FYI. If you want an all white, it's now available for order.

So funny they just release this right after I bought 3 other cases. I think I would kinda prefer the silver though cuz the white editions scratch much easier since they're not anodized. I have the pro white edition and the clear coat wears fast, nothing noticeable yet but I'm sure it won't last as long as the anodized colors.

Hi guys, Im looking at those pics and I have to say ... man that bumper looks great !!!

Just wanted to know .. how much thicker does the bumper make the iPhone vs a naked one.

And no reception of Wi-Fi, Cell, 3G at all with it ?

Hey guys
Im about the buy the vapor comp stealth and really like its look with the suede back. My question is for those who have had the suede for a while is it worth getting or will it get too dirty after awhile? Cheers.

Black Vapor Comp Case

Man this case is a awesome. I got the black vapor comp here for less than $80 bucks. I had the slider case but it scratched the back of my iphone 4. So I opted for a bumper this time around for my 4s. Good choice if you want to protect your investment.

That can't be right, they must be fake ones from China. I hate China fakes they always brake easily and it usually takes 2 to 3 months to get your stuff. I'll stick to the legit ones from America.

Of course they're fake and from china. Most are saying the quality is top notch with some slight issues but for 8x less why not give it a shot. If it stinks than you're out $16. I orderd a few and am waiting for them to come in. I didn't care how long it took for them to get here so I picked free shipping but people that pay for shipping are getting them in about a week to 10 days.

10 days is not realistic. Chinese Airmail is at least 15 business days and it so unreliable, sometimes you never get your stuff. I'd stick with a legit one. A friend of mine got a fake vapor and it cracked and damaged his phone. Not taking any chances with an expensive phone like this.

I decided between White Vapor Comp and Vapor Pro White Edition. I ended up with Vapor Pro White Edition.

The main reason is the material. Even if Comp get rid of signal issue but I check out on the plastic assemble, It look neat as Vapor Pro.

I used Vapor Pro for a while, Happy with it. Also, Signal Issue is not happen to me at all!! :D

PS. I bought directly from element case with 20% Discount Coupon!!
