Element ion 4 vs Speck Candyshell!

Hey guys,

Yet another typical 'case vs case' post... but i certainly need ur opinions.

Basically i've narrowed it down between these two cases to order.

The question is:
Does the candyshell offer MUCH more protection than the ion? or can it be said that both cases will protect my phone if dropped.

I can only speak for the Candyshell that I own and it offers excellent protection. Some say it's bulky, but since I'm coming from an OB Defender it seems light to me. Good luck.
